Butter Prawn

This butter prawn is my kids favorite dish, it is difference from outside restaurant which they cook it dry type and no gravy. My kids prefer the wet type with some gravy. After they peeling the prawn shell, they will dip the prawn into the gravy, the taste is wonderful. I even add the egg omelet, when egg soak with the gravy, the taste is fabulous. The idea was given by my sister in law.

In this market downturn, home cooking will save you money and you can enjoy a better quality of foods. Just realized it is so easy to prepare homemade curry puff. Use the ready made "Kawan" puff pastry and wrap with curry potato and chicken, bake for 25-30 mins at 180C. Similar like you bought from outside bakery shops. You can even put other type of ingrediants such as sardine, apple & etc

Quite long didn't cook rice wine chicken, since I still have a bottle of rice wine ( home made by my mum) , so I decided to cook it with black fungus (mok er). This bottle rice wine was kept about 4 years since my 3rd confinement. This is Hokkien style, thicky sauce and a bit black colour.
